We as a limousine company should have no opinion to say anything that relates in issues with companies that relate with this issue. However, we have to oppose PIPA and SOPA. We as a limousine company use blogs in order to expand to our fellow customers. We write about different things that we can have an opinion. We have a right to free speech and expression and the internet has opened that to us.
We have served various proms and weddings with our limousine. If you’re a student and is going to a prom and you happen to hear that the government is putting restrictions on proms due to the misbehavior that happens with students and the expressions they make in their proms. If you are in a wedding and the government makes a bill that many companies are losing money due to the act of weddings and people are buying too many fake bouquets so flower companies are losing money. A bill to favor a company and not the people is ridiculous, (although these instances are radical and ridiculous so is PIPA and SOPA). The internet was made to be accesible and good for all people and now putting restrictions will give the government too much power over the people. This does not benefit anyone but dying companies and corporations that want to have a bigger influence on the lives of people. Yes there should be something to stop piracy but our freedoms cannot be held responsible for that. So everyone should got to Google or Wikipedia and find out how to contact their representatives and tell them to oppose a bill that puts us at risk and puts everything we were made in this country.
