Increasingly in Europe, Suicides ‘by Economic Crisis’
The Economic Crisis is hitting Europe in the worst way, there’s a the article in New York Times, “The economic downturn that has shaken Europe for the last three years has also swept away the foundations of once-sturdy lives, leading to an alarming spike in suicide rates. Especially in the most fragile nations like Greece, Ireland and Italy, small-business owners and entrepreneurs are increasingly taking their own lives in a phenomenon some European newspapers have started calling “suicide by economic crisis.” This is very sad to hear that our European friends are not facing this economic tide in the right way. K& G Limousine has worked with many European clients and we have been hit hard with not seeing them again. We hopefully wish the Europeans to come to do airport service. We have provided the best limousine airport service to many and not limited to European clients but also to South American and Mexican clients. The New York Knicks - K & G Limousine
“Words can’t explain.”
This was the text in Tyson Chandler’s tweet just before an image link to his sparkling new championship ring. The simple social media message was actually jam-packed with meaning.
Chandler entered the league as a highly touted high school prospect with extreme size and athleticism for a player of his age. The No. 2 overall pick in 2001 was forced to match major expectations while attempting to find his specific niche in the NBA. After a couple of years in Chicago, the seven-footer was traded to New Orleans, where he transformed into one of the best defensive player’s in basketball and a threat to punish opponents on pick-and-roll alley oops.
The consistent play earned him respect and eventually led to a spot on the Dallas Mavericks roster after a short stop in Charlotte.
Dallas was a team in search of a defensive presence after several failed attempts in the playoffs, including a heartbreaking loss to the Heat in the 2006 Finals. Behind Dirk Nowitzki and a strong bench, the Mavericks owned an elite offense but the franchise needed to alter its identity to reverse the postseason exits.
Chandler slipped on the Mavericks uniform and helped the squad run through an impressive list of Western Conference foes before shocking the NBA nation with a 4-2 series victory over the Miami Heat to claim the 2010-11 NBA Championship.
How important was Chandler to that title run? Just ask Dallas head coach Rick Carlisle.
“He was such a big part of last year. He was great in so many different ways, charismatically on the floor, anchor of our defense, he’s done great things with the Knicks, they have become one of the better defensive teams this year in a relatively short period of time,” Carlisle acknowledged.
New York snagged the top free agent prospect of the offseason and is immediately witnessing his defensive skills on the floor and his leadership inside the locker room. These same types of qualities left quite an impression on his superstar teammate in Dallas.
“He just wants to win and that’s what I love about him. He doesn’t care about numbers, he doesn’t care who scores, he doesn’t care who gets the rebound, it’s all about winning and you need those guys around,” Nowitzki expressed.
The Finals MVP and Chandler enjoyed a dinner together in New York before both of their teams squared off at the Garden in February. Nowitzki shares true admiration for the man that is now building the same relationships with his current teammates. “He’s like family to me now. We won the championship together and that’s a bond for life.”
The Knicks travelled to Dallas on Monday with a day of practice at the Mavericks facility prior to the rematch between the two teams on Tuesday night. Watching Chandler greet every in-arena employee and share a couple of minutes of discussion, showed the love that was shared during his one season in the Lone Star state.
The anticipation for Tuesday’s ceremony was building as Chandler was the last member of the team to receive his championship ring. Even Dallas owner Mark Cuban described his excitement, “Yeah, it will be fun. I’m just afraid he’s gonna chest bump me so hard that I go flying across the floor, either that or I bruise a sternum.”
Just before the opening intros, a Chandler highlight reel video quickly grabbed the capacity crowd’s attention. The mix of Mavericks and Knicks fans rose to their feet in celebration of the man in the middle. In a New York shooting shirt, Chandler walked in front of the cheering fans, hugged Carlisle and Cuban and placed his hand high above his head at center court in a truly memorable event.
Chandler expressed his emotions, “The moment was amazing, lifelong of work, and definitely everything you ever dreamed of. I think whenever you feel that kind of appreciation from not only the fans but my teammates, my former teammates, I was just overwhelmed.”
The California native achieved his career goal in Dallas but the symbolic piece of jewelry he received will now serve as motivation to capture a championship once again, this time in the orange and blue. Google today tributes Akira Yoshizawa the grand master of origami for his birthday. The tribute is big and kind of energizing I think that the main point of this and that is helpful is basically because K & G Limousine team is very happy to see this wonderful tribute. Buranovo Grannies for Russia this year! 2012 Eurovision - K & G Limousine
The Buranovo Grannies, Russia`s folk group picked to perform on behalf of their country at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest in Baku, has been experiencing both criticism and praise while journalists and music fans are sharing their views on the band. In some people they evoke envy, while others are delighted to listen to them, says Viktor Drobysh, the band’s co-producer.
A team of BBC journalists spent a week in the Buranovo village in Russia’s republic of Udmurtiya. The Udmurt people belong to the Finno-Ugric nation. By the way, the world’s famous composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky was born there, and certainly could hear folk songs which were popular in the region.
The Buranovo Grannies is a folk group, its participants know many old songs and perform in traditional bright clothes. Galina Koneva, 76, the eldest ‘granny’: “My dress and apron were made almost a century ago. They were made of linen and, probably, this is why they were not damaged. And my headscarf is very old- it was made at least 200 years ago! Like other ‘grannies’, I got these clothes from my grand-grandmother”. Obviously, for the BBC team there was something exotic about the dresses. Even the 75-year-old Engelbert Humperdinck, who is representing Britain at this year`s contest, could have envied his pensioner rivals, but he did not make any remarks that could have spoiled his ‘real gentleman’ image. There are enough envious people in Russia: some of the contenders who lost to the Buranovo Grannies accused Viktor Drobysh, who composed thier Party for Everybody hit, of plagiarism. “I do not steal songs, I compose them. You know, many outstanding musicians, including Sir Paul McCartney, faced plagiarism allegations”, Drobysh said and explained in detail which folk motives he used to write the hit.
In an interview with the VoR Viktor Drobysh said how he first met the Buranovo Grannies:
"I got acquainted with them just 10 days before the national contest began. I mean, I have no intention to share their fame. They were already a folk group before me, I just wrote a song for them, which helped them get picked for the Eurovision contest. I think no major changes will happen to them after the contest is over. They will keep on living and singing in their village. They are really gifted. And the number of folklore bands is likely to increase since there is hardly anyone in a village who can`t sing. The Buranovo Grannies are just promoting the Russian folklore music worldwide. I would even say that they have created a brand, and this is one of their major achievements."
The total age of the participants is 403 but they have so much energy and are so emotional! Viktor Drobysh even shared some spicy details:
"One of the grannies, Natalia Pugachyova, has a very jealous husband, who plans to travel to Baku with her because he thinks that she might be having a lover there. Well, let him go with her. The Eurovision contest should by no means be a reason for divorce."

Rep. Gabrielle Giffords Steps Down from Congress
Democratic Representative Gabrielle Giffords is resigning from her seat in order to concentrate on recovering from her wounds, but promised to return to public service in the future. Representative Giffords resigned also to not only do a better recovery but also have someone else provide a full on job as she recovers. In her video message she thanks many of her supporters for being hopeful in her recovery as she was shot in the head. K & G Limousine is glad to hear of her choice and not because we neither support or dislike a particular party but it is a smart personal choice to take care of yourself and then help others. K & G Limousine has served many politicians and we are hopeful that her recovery will come and be helpful to all of the citizens of the United States.
