U.S. Sues Apple, Publishers Over E-Book Pricing

K & G Limousine team just read this article over the kglimo twitter of the N.Y. Times, “U.S. Sues Apple, Publishers Over E-Book Pricing” According to the article from the N.Y. Times, The lawsuit, filed in Manhattan federal court by the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division, alleges Apple and the publishers reached an agreement where retail price competition would cease, retail e-books prices would increase significantly and Apple would be guarantee a 30% “commission” on each e-book sold. K & G Limousine is very disappointed but agrees with the Apple agreement, and the E-books is just one of the problems they face with their products. mainly so they can take 100% of majority of the profits. Unfortunately, Apple doesn’t know what its has. K & G Limousine has been in New York for many years and has seen the sudden rush and awakening of Apple. Apple and New York and K & G Limousine. Limousine service providers can’t be a monopoly and we wish they were sometimes because then in some way the prices wouldn’t go up but there would be so many limousines that the prices wouldn’t be that high. However, Limousine service providers are separate and K & G Limousine by far is the most affordable, and yes we’re pretty small now but we want to grow, and grow to the point that everyone will know who we are.

Measuring Up Citigroup and Bank of America- (New York Times) K and G Limousine

According to an article from the New York Times “Bank of America used to be the stock Wall Street loved to hate. Citigroup, on the other hand, was supposed to be the troubled bank that had finally gotten its act together. Those familiar roles have been reversed in 2012, however, and with bank earnings season set to start later this week, investors will be closely watching to see how the two banks match up. The two have plenty in common. Both giants were forced to turn to the government for help in the wake of the financial crisis in 2008, and both have chief executives who have spent much of their tenure cleaning up the messes they inherited. Both companies have also had to issue significant amounts of new stock to raise capital that solidified their balance sheets but left their shares at a fraction of precrisis highs. Citigroup and Bank of America also face the risk of a credit downgrade by the ratings agency Moody’s Investors Service in mid-May.” This is interesting, K & G Limousine has worked with executives from those banks. K & G Limousine is the most reliable source in New York for a reliable and affordable limousine service. We have provided the best service for many years. Apple Company

While the world publicly mourned the death of Steve Jobs on Thursday, Apple employees did so more quietly, as befits a company that prizes secrecy. Some employees said the mood at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino, Calif., was a combination of sadness and business as usual.“We knew it was coming; it was just a matter of when, not if,” said one employee who declined to be named, citing company policy. “I’m just really happy he was surrounded by his family when it happened.”One former engineer who very recently left Apple to start her own company said she and the current employees she spoke with were shaken up by Mr. Jobs’s death, even though it seemed inevitable.

We are very sad for the loss of Steve Jobs and I believe that K and G Limousine is going to begin using additional Apple products. They have given technological advances for the different people in our country and advance for the world. We believe that Apple products will develop a new way to look at technology, however, lets not forget that we have to understand that these technologies with limousine companies go hand in hand. We would love to create and app that would be accessible, for all clients to get a limousine service. We wish everyone the best of luck and hopefully that with a limousine service we can actually work to better with technology and anything you want, K & G Limousine will do it
